Born and raised in Cancun, Jimena's journey to becoming Tulum's celebrated private chef is a story of passion, resilience, and culinary love.

In 2018, Jimena embarked on a journey into the world of tourism, enrolling at Universidad Anahuac. However, by 2019, she found herself at a crossroads, seeking a deeper connection to life. Choosing Tulum as her escape, she was instantly captivated by its unique energy.

Jimena decided to follow her heart and began her journey in the hospitality industry as a hostess at Papaya Playa. However, when the global pandemic hit in 2020, her job was lost, and her life took an unexpected turn.

During this period of reflection, Jimena tapped into her childhood memories of watching her grandmother create culinary magic in the kitchen. Her grandmother's love and connection through food left an indelible mark, igniting a passion within Jimena.

Jimena's personal vegan food journey took center stage as she refined her culinary skills, transitioning her passion into a thriving business. In the early days, she was a one-woman show, even delivering vegan delights by bicycle from her Tulum kitchen. 

As her reputation grew, her business expanded, and she shifted her focus to crafting healthy, flavorful meals, resonating with her customers. It was during this time that Jimena was mentored by a seasoned chef, learning the art of pairing flavors and enriching her culinary expertise.

Jimena's long-term goal for her business is to share her unique and memorable experiences with as many people as possible, connecting them through the love and zest for life she inherited from her beloved grandmother.

Today, Jimena is the visionary behind unforgettable dining experiences in Tulum, driven by a passion for connecting people through food.
